UNITY Insurance Brokers (Fiji) Pte Limited is an independent insurance broker locally incorporated and registered as a ‘privately’ owned company on 3rd July 2003 solely by P. K. Tiwari in partnership with Anil Patel as fellow director. Anil Patel emigrated to the USA in 2005 and hence UIB is now a family business.

As “First Local” we are extremely thankful to the Reserve Bank of Fiji for bestowing immense confidence in our ability to execute and face the challenges, compete, and compel to the best of our ability in order to deliver unsurpassed services to the business community and our people at large.  

Since the Company began its operation on 1st January 2004, UIB has provided Insurance broking, risk management and associated services to a wide clientele ranging from individuals to small and large organizations and selection from any insurance provider available in the market.

As in the past, currently there are some local and foreign business entities interested in buying shares in the company to boost our level of industry participation and an opening for foreign investors in the allied field.

However, in view of the financial strength, experienced staff, and strategic sustainability, the Board of Directors has decided that UIB on its own is in a position to excel and expand with the resources available within.  

UIB has access to both the local and offshore insurance markets, with our client’s interest being of paramount importance when deciding on policy placements.

We have managed to secure the privilege of being appointed the Fijian Member of Network Partnerships with some of the world’s largest insurance broking networks and insurance broking firms, such as:
